Ag Consultant

We are looking for an Ag Consultant who is hardworking, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about California's San Joaquin Valley soils. As a Consultant you will interact with clientele such are growers, dairies, food processors, packing houses, engineers, homeowners and water purveyors. Fertilizer recommendations, soil reclamation assistance and crop nutrient management plans are part of the job. You may conduct field observations, document strata information in backhoe pits, offer advice for agronomic/environmental clients, investigate crop loss & provide expert witness testimony and other services.

A BS or MS degree in Soil Science or Agronomy is needed. Some experience in soil fertility and salinity management, crop nutrition & irrigation management in row, vine & tree crops preferred. Computer proficient & Certified Crop Advisor certificate attainable.
